Klick Toronto came to us with big ambitions and a tight four-week window. They needed an animation studio with the technology and creative chops to deliver something genuinely moving. Not just technically impressive. We liked the sound of that.
Our answer was a hybrid pipeline that brought together 2D concept art, full 3D environment and character work, and AI-driven animation. Each discipline doing what it does best, together.
"Follow the process. Make sure artists have ways to bring their inspiration and experience to full effect."

How we got there
01 Concepting & Pre-production
We spent the lion's share of the project here. Sketching, painting, repainting. Throwing ideas around until the world felt right. No shortcuts. Just the work.
02 World Building in 3D
Our 3D team built the environments from the inside out, imagining themselves as anthropomorphic possums to place every prop and create a space you'd believe in.
03 Character & Detail
Characters were modelled with care. Fur generated, individual strands combed into place. The kind of obsessive detail that makes a world feel lived-in.
04 AI-Driven Animation
We used AI video models to animate, developing an intricate prompting system to get the acting just right. Technology as enabler, not replacement.
What we took away
With the technological landscape shifting as quickly as it is, it's tempting to chase every new tool. This project reminded us why the fundamentals matter. Stick to the process. Give artists the space to bring their experience and instincts to bear. Don't cut corners just because you can. When creative technology is approached with that mindset, it becomes a huge enabler. The team is emboldened, and everyone walks away with something they're proud of. Especially the client.
